We're in a tough spot here at Touchy Feely Records. Our aim is to release music that we find truly compelling, while simultaneously seeking out and supporting the nice guys. It is the talent-rich yet kind-hearted by which we are intrigued, and we consider it an added bonus when they possess a penchant for the d.i.y. approach.

While it seems to become increasingly more difficult to find artists that fit such a bill, look no further than Portland's standout newgaze/noisepop three-piece Lubec. Their most recent full length, "The Thrall" was released back in Sept. 2014, and is in our opinion one of the finest records to rise out of the entire Portland scene that year.

That's why we couldn't be more thrilled/thralled (get it?) to share with you Lubec's latest 3 song offering, "Concentration."

Sonically it picks up right where they left off with their last record, albeit with an immediacy that is already moving them towards a new musical approach. We hope you're as enthralled as we are, and remember - It's never too late to support something cool and nice.

I usually listen to things an visualize either movies or scenes that could be in movies. And after listening to your music I've written a script about an up and coming band trying to just play shows at local bars and venues. They end up breaking apart do to their personal lives and issues between each other. It would be filmed from like a documentary "fly on the wall" film Chance Holland
